The Art of Manliness counts down the 20 Manliest Mustaches and Beards. I generally approve of the selections. Tom Selleck is obvious, of course. And Salvador Dali’s mustache is a classic in the field.

That said, I am a little surprised at the lack of any mustache love for Burt Reynolds, who has one of America’s iconic mustaches, as well as the lack of love for Abraham Lincoln’s classic beard and overall manliness. I’m hopeful that this was just an oversight.
